Hot off the press, Philip Kotler’s newest book “Social Marketing for Public Health” devotes a whole chapter to a great western Canadian case study featuring our long-standing client Saskatchewan in Motion.
The book was written by Hong Cheng, Ohio University; Philip Kotler, Northwestern University; and Nancy R. Lee, University of South Florida. It examines global trends and includes a number of case studies on successful social marketing campaigns.
Introduced as a concept more than 40 years ago, social marketing applies marketing principles and techniques to motivate changes in target audience behaviour. Ideally these behavioural changes benefit society overall, as well as the target audience itself.
Brown is proud to be a partner with Saskatchewan in Motion as we work together to promote physical activity among all age groups in our province.
